Why do we pray?(2)

Why do we pray?(2)
We also pray to re-direct our blessings. God knows our every needs and would not withhold them from us. But there are evil forces which are interested in
labelling God a lier. (Jeremiah 1:12)´´Then said the
LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it´´. They want to make sure for
example, that God´s promise to provide our needs is made to look like a lie! So immediately God releases a blessing, some demons block it on the way. They try to profer reasons the blessings should not get to you especially because you are a sinner(which ofcourse is true). If in a situation like this, you do not stand up to tell God why those sins can no longer be counted against you because of the blood of Jesus that has paid for it,he would have no choice than to watch you suffer. Our God is a just God who reasons! To be better put,let us say you have a child who has committed an offence and is being detained by the Police. You desire his release but cannot simply go to the cell or court and say ´´son, come go with me home´´! The constitution does not say the boy is allowed to be set free because he is your son. On the other hand,if you come to the magistrate and say your son is under-aged,his attention and compassion would be aroused and if well managed,he could be released because the constitution regards under-aged children to be in their sub-conscious and therefore cannot be held responsible for their actions legally,no matter the enormity of their offence.
That is how the word of God is to us. The blood of Jesus qualifies us all - no matter how old we may be and no matter the enormity of our offence - to be under-aged before the constitution and court of the kingdom of God! Thank God for Jesus who has made us justified. (Micah 7:19)´´He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea´´. (Isaiah 1:18)´´Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool´´. The above scriptures are instances of the extent God is willing to go, only if we would co-operate, to show us compassion!
All the afore-mentioned appart, most of us, Africans especially, have numerous problems stemming from evil ancestral roots and inheritance, which neccesitates fervent prayers for us to be delivered. (James 5:16)´´Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much´´.
We finally pray in order to renew our spiritual state. Man´s spirit is like a computer. If you go online daily with a computer that has an anti-virus program installed, you would need to update from time to time in order to ensure its proper functioning. You perform virus scan from time to time and repair any discovered virus intrussion so that the computer is once more restarted on a new slate. Our spiritual lives is similar. As we walk through our daily life,we are like a computer experiencing internet traffic. Sins and demonic persons, activities, situations etc are the spiritual viruses. As we move, some may cling to us. When we later pray and do deliverance, they are shaken off because our spirits are then made too hot for their comfort and they flee or die. But if we don´t pray, the result is that they stay on in our spirits and become more and more powerful until they kill us! To read How do we pray?,click here>>
