Efficient forms of prayer(1).
Praying in tongues. This is a very efficient form of prayer. It refers to a form of prayer that is not done in understanding. In this form of prayer you utter things
that no human can understand. The main importancef this is that even the devil does not understand when we pray in tongues. We pray in a tongue that only God
understands and the beauty of it is that if our prayers is not properly arranged,the Holy Spirit helps us to arrange and interprete it to his taste. This is often called ´praying in the spirit´. (Romans 8:1,26)´´There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.26Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered´´.
praise and Worship. this is a very potent form of prayer.When you worship and praise God,you are provoking him to action. God loves songs of praise. He said that he created us in his own image and just like we love praise and it provokes us to do more good as humans,so also does it provoke God beyound bounds. The scene in the war of Jericho demonstrates that praise to God avails more than lifting a sword towards your enemy. If you are praising God and you are being persecuted,God would do anything to make sure that the praise is not cut off. He would eliminate the source of trouble and distraction so that the praise and worship could be sustained.(Joshua 6:20)´´So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city´´.
prayer of Thanksgiving. This is a form of prayer in which you thank God in advance and in faith for what is not yet present in your poccession as if it already is. God ,having recieved these thanks in advance,would be provoked to do it because he does not like to recieve the glory for what he has not done and not doing it ties him to it as a debt. God hates debt with a passion. God gave us the power to speak things into being and this kind of prayer is an activation of that power. (Proverbs 18:21)´´Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof´´.God loves it when we display the faith of asuming that the things that are yet not,are.(Romans 4:17)´´(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were´´.
