God´s Plan for Marriage(Part 1)
Genesis 2:18 And the LORD God said, "It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him." Gods main plan and purpose for
marriage among others are to Glorify God’s Image,
Meeting Each Other’s Companionship,Reproduce Children in God’s Likeness.
Just as a car for example has a manual where instructions are clealy stated for easy use and
understanding ...The Bible is our Manual.


*Glorify God’s Image :Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move on the ground.
So, God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them." Genesis 1:26-27.
Let us make man in our image, (in our likeness)...Us here shows oneness ,Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
You must be one with your spouse and with God to be able to accomplish God’s purposes for your marriage – to reflect, reproduce and reign together and His standard for marriage produces meaning, happiness, and fulfillment.Marriage glorifies God Image 1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light. God created marriage as a means for us to live out the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If you read Ephesians 5 (any other scriptural references below ), men are told to love their wives "as Christ loves the church, and gave Himself up for her." . God’s ultimate purpose is to bring glory to himself, through restoration of relationship with His people Ephesians 5:25-"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ loved the church, and gave himself for it;"Colossians 3:19-"Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them..Ephesians 5:22 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord . 2. Titus 2:3-5 Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. 4Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, 5to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.
**Meeting Each Other’s Companionship : Genesis 2:18 And the LORD God said, "It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him."A wife is a helper to her husband , a companion, spiritually, emotionally,intellectually and sexually The sexual aspects of marriage are clearly and unashamedly taught (I Cor. 7: 3-6, Heb. 13: 4). The belief and teaching that sexual intercourse is just for procreation is patently false and has resulted in many failed marriages.Sex is to be enjoyed in marriage.Proverbs 5:9 Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love. As companions to our mates we must fulfill the companionship needs of each other unreservedly.5:25-"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ loved the church, and gave himself for it;"Colossians 3:19-"Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them..Ephesians 5:22 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord .Mathew 18:19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.Deu 32:30, How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight.
***Reproduce Children in God´s Likeness :God’s other purpose for marriage is to reproduce:God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it." Genesis 1:28a,Malachi 2:15 Has not the LORD made them one? In flesh and spirit they are his. And why one? Because he was seeking godly offspring. So guard yourself in your spirit, and do not break faith with the wife of your youth.Paul wrote of the woman, "notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety" I Tim. 2: 15.
