The veracity and potency of the word of God.

I would start the introduction to this Blog by saying that I have personally suffered greatly in the hands of the kingdom of darkness. I grew up virtually tender
brought up to understand such happenings as ´´destiny´´. I accepted it as my destiny until I married my beloved born-again wife and the situation only got worse until my life practically grounded to a halt. That was when I accepted to be born again,despite all initial promptings from my wife. It is worthy of note here that most,if not all the great men of God we see around today only receive God during times of great ´´trials´´. There is hardly any one who decides on God when things are in their carnal ´´best´´. To cut the long story short,(my story to be continued later..) I grudgingly became born-again after much pressure from both my real life situations and the relentless nudges from my wife. I started to attend church - I must give the credit of my deliverance to the ´´Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministry´´ of Dr. D. K. Olukoya - and as the word of God was being taught and the dark secrets of the kingdom of darkness revealed (how they operated and so on),I started to have an in-depth understanding of spiritual things which ultimately unfolded into my victory over the kingdom of darkness in my life. The light in my life started to shine to the dismay of darkness.´´And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not´´.(John 1:5)
age perfectly until after university education. It came to a head,when I grew up into a man and started experiencing partial and full-fledged failure in virtually every endeavour of life. I did not bulge because I was
surrounded by a swarm of witches,without even realizing it because,things seemed to be going well for me-I performed excellently in school and did all the things in my
Things - stunning and unimaginable things - started to happen as I began to apply the word of God and the authority therein in prayers,fasting and other areas of obedience to God. The first time I fasted,hell was let loose in my ancestral lineage. A lot of secrets that were hitherto hidden from my knowledge were uprooted by the Spirit of God! There were confessions all over the place as to things that have been done in connivance against me in the past. ´´Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake´´(Isaiah 54:15). That singular event opened my eyes to the potency of the word of God and the fact that even though we always look for our enemies from outside our families,they are often buried deep inside our skins. This explains why they are most often difficult to discover,and an enemy you don´t identify or know is difficult,if not impossible to fight. ´´And a man's foes shall be they of his own household´´(Matthew 10:36).
Having seen just a few of the things that the word of God could do,I plunged myself fully into studying and searching the word..and I discovered more and more killer verses of scriptures against the devil: ´´So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him´´(Isaiah 59:19).; ´´45Strangers (enemies) shall submit themselves unto me: as soon as they hear, they shall be obedient unto me. 46Strangers (enemies) shall fade away, and they shall be afraid out of their close (hiding) places´´(2 Samuel 22:45-46).
I resisted him and he fled.´´Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you´´(James 4:7).
Having sustained so much loss,pains and scars from the kingdom of darkness due to ignorance in the past,I got delivered and after a deliberate appraisal of what GOD has done in my life,I decided to testify to the potency of the word and save other people who are currently undergoing the devil´s blackmail which only ignorance of the word of God can sustain,and do not know how to free themselves from such a bondage. To verify this assertion,the Bible says: ´My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children´.(Hosea 4:6).
Only the acknowledgement,belief in and the exercise of the authority and the power in the word of God and the Blood of Jesus can guarantee success of an afflicted one over the Powers that perpetrate such afflictions. ´´Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all´´Psalm 34:19; .´Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you´.(Luke 10:19); ´´25But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.26And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob´´(Isaiah 49:25-25).
It is also noteworthy that the kingdom of darkness is not given in to delivering success over their activities to the children of God on a platter of gold,hence the dire need to employ violence-Holy violence-to regain our possessions from them by force.´´And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force´´.(Matthew 11:12).
